Will politicians cheat, steal, or break their promises again? Your choice.
The fact that you have to use cream for mature/dry/acne-prone/sensitive skin? Your choice.
These seem like two totally separate topics, but they perfectly illustrate: your beliefs create your reality.
Take a few steps back and look at the bigger picture. What did you hear about politicians from your parents as a child? What did they discuss with your uncles, grandparents, and their friends? Do you really think that the fact that "nothing changes" in politics is something you have no control over? You have enormous influence, but it's usually unconscious. Because even if you want to believe that this or that party will govern differently, either someone you don't like will win, or your favourite party will make you look like a fool. A bit of your own doing... 😬
Let me explain. It's about your limiting beliefs formed early in childhood – at home, at school, through the movies and media you were exposed to, by musicians who were your idols, etc. Today, we often think we think independently, yet our subconscious takes over – we react based on patterns. One of these patterns is "politicians are no good." And they will always be this way until you remove this program from your brain. Until we remove it collectively, but that all depends on you – each of us individually.
Patterns aren't easy to spot "from the inside," because the ego doesn't like to be wrong. However, observe carefully, and your reality will reveal your patterns. What's happening in the world, in politics, even these senseless wars, are only a reflection of the inner state of each of us. Even if it seems like it doesn't apply to you.
Now look at your face cream. What skin type is it for? Acne-prone, combination, or ultra-sensitive? What if none of these things are true, and you're still slathering your face with the affirmation of "[some] complexion"? What could be the effect of daily affirmations that your skin is this way?
I think you already know the answer. 🙃 Here, I give thanks to my mentor DG, who made me realize this crazy paradox. As a mini inspiration: I recently created my own cosmetics for beautiful, radiant skin called "Morning Glow," "Night Feast," and "Tender Embrace." Simple, three-ingredient, and I've never really had anything better in my life. Maybe it's also something worth considering for all skincare manufacturers who care about customer satisfaction (though the risk is that soon they won't even have to use anything 🤭 all things considered, I think it's worth it! – especially since some brands seem to be paying attention). Tip: There's no need to get rid of those cosmetics you already have – just delete the old name and give them a new one.
Will you try it? If so, let me know how it went in the comments! 🖤
