There are two powers that every human being possesses. Though they may seem unassuming and “too simple,” they can work wonders!
Gratitude
I wrote about gratitude a long time ago here. Today, however, I appreciate even more how specifically directed gratitude can double – or even triple – the satisfaction, joy, and contentment we feel for the beauty and goodness that already exists in our lives. The trick? Say it out loud! 😊 And me? I'm so grateful that you are here!
Compassion
The other side of this superpower coin is compassion – more specifically, self-compassion. While gratitude can amplify the positive, self-compassion has the ability to neutralize difficult emotions, situations, and experiences we'd rather not have in our lives.
Interestingly, sincere compassion for oneself can also soothe a wounded inner child, a chronic sceptic, or even a past life aspect that experienced a traumatic event. Since February this year, I've been guiding exactly these kinds of self-healing processes as a Certified Practitioner of the Compassion Key method. 💜
I was enchanted by the method's simplicity, but most importantly, it's the only approach I've found on my path that can not only reach the deepest layers of subconscious programming and so-called karmic imprints but also effectively release them! In my case, it's the final piece of the health puzzle, and it fills me with joy to be able to share it with others. The decision to get certified was quite unexpected, but the first beautiful sessions with clients convinced me that Compassion Key is exactly what I'm meant to be doing right now.
