Natural cosmetics that actually work AND don't cost a fortune? Is that possible? 🤔 Yes, it is!
I resisted, really resisted to write about external skincare! Mainly because I still believe it’s more important to address the root causes of why the skin isn’t healthy. Also because I adore simplicity and minimalism! For a long time, I avoided products with rich formulas – something would always irritate, clog, or simply not sit right. But today, after releasing a huge amount of useless subconscious programming, my perspective on many things has shifted dramatically, and I am 100% ready for rich support from the outside!
Some time ago I wrote (here) about a couple of newly discovered Polish natural cosmetic brands – Trawiaste + a little mention of Tyma Herbs. These are great brands, but due to the pricing, they’re more on the luxurious side. Unfortunately, most of their products didn’t work for me long term – probably because of the frequent use of essential oils and intensely herbal ingredients lists. As for Tyma, I still occasionally use the Tar Ointment for stubborn healing issues, but for daily use it’s quite harsh and inconvenient (it stings and stains brown). I really liked the Jasmine Oil, Yarrow Herbal Water, and Coconut Milk, and totally fell in love with the scent of the Olejanka Święta – but sadly, it didn’t live up to my expectations in terms of real results, which is a shame! The same goes for the Olejanka Achillesa, which I had high hopes for and used up a lot of (beautiful) jars of... The simpler Ziołun Uczep also did very little. Oh well – I’ve made peace with the fact that they’re not for me, and I’d rather spend future 💰 on addressing the reasons why my skin is so picky and sensitive – for example, in a subconscious healing session with someone gifted in that area (🙃).
If you’ve been following Wielowymiar for a while, you probably know how important it is to me to maintain a healthy microbiome. Gut health is one thing – but the skin is, in a sense, its extension. It’s considered the largest detox organ in the body, which makes the bacteria living on our skin just as important as those inside. They’re our most powerful line of defense! So it didn’t take much to catch my attention with an ingredient called Microbiome Stimuli Base in the Opcja Natura's lotion creatively named Atop Stop. I also bought the much-praised (over 1200 reviews on Allegro.pl, with an average rating of ⭐4.92) Wound-Healing Ointment and a simple Coconut Soap.

When it comes to Atop Stop, I’ve been thrilled with how effective it is – basically from the first use. I once searched for a good, natural urea-based product and found nothing at the time. I even tried adding pure urea from Ziołowa Wyspa (another excellent Polish brand!) to my routine, but it just wasn’t practical and didn’t bring notable results. So Atop Stop is a bit of a dream come true – it contains 10% urea, which is amazing for hydrating the skin, and an innovative ingredient – a bio-ferment that supports good bacteria and limits the bad ones! 😍 Not to mention precious oils like black seed, flax, hemp, and calendula extract! All of that for under 50 PLN for 200ml of lotion – a total win.
For me, the lotion works great on both body and face. It’s very efficient – 200ml should last me about a month. For cracks and scratches, I use the Wound-Healing Ointment, which has a rich, oily texture and wonderfully calms and heals using a similar oil base plus laurel oil (without the stinging urea). Both work incredibly fast – I saw results after the very first use, which honestly shocked me! My skin’s long-standing roughness was gone, irritation is healing overnight, and the lotion isn’t greasy – which, contrary to popular belief among many skincare producers, is not actually helpful for atopic skin. These two products together will remain my absolute go-to for as long as my skin will need their support, and the ointment has a solid chance of staying in my medicine cabinet forever 🧡 for minor scrapes, burns, etc.

The soap is gentle and very creamy – perfect for shaving, which was a nice surprise. In my second order, I also got the red clay Vitamin Bomb Mask, which is also supposed to do wonders for dry skin. I can't wait to see the effects!
The cherry on top? The lovely and charismatic owner of Opcja Natura, Agata Suliga, who’s happy to answer questions and comments on Instagram. I’ll definitely be trying more of their products (starting with that clay mask!), recommending them to friends, and eagerly waiting for new releases. 😉 If you're reading this – from the bottom of my heart: THANK YOU!
