As some of you know, my great passion is the psychological causes of diseases, especially chronic ones, such as my Atopic Dermatitis. The long road of medication withdrawal led me to Bach Flower Therapy, which I have already written about here and here.
My personal success with this therapy has been quite measurable, but I have experienced a few relapses, which led me to further explore the Bach method and understand the connections between the individual Flowers that make it possible (and much easier!) to use them in the treatment of chronic problems. The source of this information are the research works of the German naturopath Dietmar Krämer and the resulting "New Bach Flower Therapies".
In his system, Mr. Krämer divided the essences into outer and inner flowers, as well as one base flower. Outer flowers are related to an external situation, such as starting a new job or being involved in a dangerous car accident. The base flower is the flower of self-esteem (Larch). The inner flowers are divided into 12 tracks , each containing 3 flowers:
- Communication Flower – related to the personality, it is usually the initial stage of a psychological problem, which may turn into a physical problem at this level – e.g. people in negative Centaury state are easily subject to external influences and are often exploited or exhausted by contact with others.
- Compensation Flower – if the conflict of the Communication Flower deepens and is not resolved, another state develops, which compensates for the previous one on the principle of counterbalance (yin➔yang or vice versa) – the consequence of the Centaury state is Holly, in which we become surly, suspicious, we feel hatred, jealousy, anger.
- Decompensation Flower – the state of Compensation is not a state that we can maintain for a long time and its consequence is the most troublesome state, the final stage of the track – the Holly state leads to a sense of guilt and remorse, characteristic of Pine.
Therapy of chronic and long-term problems always begins with outer Flowers and existing states of Decompensation. Starting therapy with lower levels of Flowers (Communication or Compensation), although often brings initial improvement, may result in relapses or even worsening of the situation and in the long run doesn't solve the problem. However, if we start from the "top" layer and alleviate all the states of Decompensation, we can continue with the states of Compensation until we finally reach the deepest basic characteristics of our personality, which are reflected in the Flowers of Communication.
A useful tool for identifying the most likely paths for us (though not working 100% of the time, as we have free will) is astrological analysis. The first 12 Flowers discovered by Edward Bach correlate with 12 astrological signs, the positions of the Moon and the Ascendant seem to be particularly important. Based on research on the human aura, Dietmar Krämer also created body maps, which are helpful in identifying emotional problems manifesting themselves in very specific places on the body - in my experience, an extremely accurate tool, but the basis for its use is knowledge of the tracks described above.
Według mnie to rozwinięcie Terapii Kwiatowej Bacha ma przeogromny potencjał, dlatego też stworzyłam swój mini kurs. 🌸
